I have 20 years of professional design experience working both in-office and remote freelance. My design career began at Montgomery Ward National Headquarters as a page builder in 1999. Each job since has led to new experiences and opportunities. To stay current with today’s software and technology trends, freelancing has been a priority of mine throughout my career. This has also allowed me to strengthen important skills like digital photography, audio-video production, and brand management.

As my resume states, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications from the Illinois Institute of Art. I also have my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Both degrees have helped tremendously throughout my career. My undergraduate degree has allowed me to work in a variety of creative positions, from entry level to management. My graduate degree has contributed to my present understanding of how information is received, processed, and adopted to say the least. Both have helped me to excel in my current professional endeavors. To keep my skills current, I do a great deal of freelance design and photography with my own clientele.
